The home will need to be vacant during the dry fog process, so plan a place for you and your pets to be during the services. We will visit with you prior to your service to confirm your appointment and give basic instructions on how to prepare your home. They are simple things like opening all closets, closing all windows, etc.  We will need details on your HVAC system and any fire alarm/carbon monoxide sensors.  We will also need the accurate square footage of your total home space.

Because of the dryness of the fog, Pure Air has never had an issue with wall art or paintings, but many people feel more comfortable taking the expensive paintings down or covering them with a blanket.

The chemicals used are applied as approved on the labeling and are considered safe for the process, but to retain the fresh taste of your produce you may want to place it in a zip lock bag or refrigerator.

You will be back in your home the same day. Each job is different, but the average size home takes around 4-6 hours. You may notice a smell reminding you of vinegar when you return but that will dissipate quickly, and many have described it as a very “fresh” smell.

Absolutely. The products are “green” and are being used as labeled and approved.

No, in fact, you want to keep as many of your belongings inside the home as possible. Mold spores get trapped inside fabrics, furniture, clothing, mattresses, carpet, etc. All of those things should be treated as well.

Our patented technology creates a 7.5-micron-sized particle. A mold spore is between 12 and 30 microns. Thus, in any place where a mold spore can get in or out of, the fog will penetrate those areas. In special situations where there is a known issue behind a wall, we can penetrate the space with a few “pencil sized” holes inserted between the studs and treat the back of the wall directly.

Not at all. Our process leaves no residue. 

They certainly do not like it and many customers report that it has, but we avoid making any claims about bugs.

The stains that the mold has created will not go away but we can clean them for you at a small additional cost.  If you want, you can do that yourself after the treatment and everything will be perfectly safe to handle at that point, as the mold has been denatured and is inert post treatment.

If all moisture and water issues are resolved, this is a very long-lasting solution, with many clients never reporting any further mold issues.  With minor water issues like humidity or condensation on windows, Pure Air has tested it out for up to 6 years and has not been able to get mold growth because of the EverPURE process. With major water or moisture issues that length of protection time will be shortened, which is why we recommend that any leaks and water intrusion issues be addressed prior to treatment. We can assist with addressing these issues as well with our network of contacts.

Your technician will take an air sample upon completing the treatment and send it to an independent, third-party lab. We use an accredited mold lab that has no affiliation with any mold testing or mold remediation companies. About 5-7 business days after the treatment, we will communicate the post treatment results to assure that we have delivered as promised. We will provide our guarantee information as well for your peace of mind.
